My Project Proposal Outline:
Introduction Paragraph
Sustainability quote in the first line.
“There is no such thing as ‘away’. When we throw anything away it must go somewhere.” – Annie Leonard, Proponent of Sustainability
Working as a solutioneer at Greenlight Solutions Foundation and a tax resolution junior at TSS Accounting, I began noticing that we threw out a bunch of paper every day at the accounting firm but there was no recycling system in place.
Due to the new sustainability movement how can we implement that recycling system within our accounting firm right now?
Address the whole issue.
We have no recycle bin outside or inside.
We shred documents and then toss them into the trash bin.
Why now?
Everyone is getting on board on the sustainability train and we need to hop on before we are criticized.
To increase company satisfaction
How will we go about researching this?
Figure out ways we can include recycling and where will it go?
Finding the costs of recycle bins and ways to cut down on cost like maybe use old shipment boxes
Where is the closest recycling center in the city?
Who will be affected?
The whole office and all the clients involved through paperless documents
This would cut some of the time from our day to go drop off the recycling materials depending on where the center is located
We would need to help our employees practice recycling strategies like knowing which products are recyclable and which are not and where to put each product
The clients will appreciate it and we may get more clients
More media coverage
Better for Mother Earth
Conclusion
Due to the new sustainability movement we need to figure out how to implement that recycling system within our accounting firm right now.
Why this is so important.
