My research is going pretty well I would say. I’m finding a lot of great sources on recycling and places locally that we could go to. The hardest thing I would say that I research is to track how recycling is being put in place in the workforce because there’s not that much research on it. My Syracuse question is still going to be the same, which is the question of how can we implement a strong recycling system within our accounting firm right now? I have found many great blogs and how to actually set up a recycling system in the workforce which I had actually written about in my previous journal, journal 16. I think the key detail it’s just trying to figure out how to put it in place in regards to the TSS Accounting company versus just a general broad company.
I think in regards to further research I need to dig deep into how to get people on board with the whole recycling system. Sometimes when new changes happen in the workforce people may not like it and may not want to do it and so this is a great opportunity to research ways to make sure that everyone is on board with recycling within the company. I think I also need to research how much waste is actually going into the landfills due to companies not implementing recycling within their company. I think that there are a lot more ways than we might imagine. I know just me myself throws away a whole lot more than I would have expected. Most of what we threw out his paper but there are still some plastic bottles and even glass.
My research plan is to write down an outline of what I need to research and then start a freewriting. I need to first find really great reliable sources online to narrow down the areas that I don’t have very much information on. I think there should be plenty of resources to dig through it just is going to require some time. I will probably spend most of tomorrow finishing up some of the research touches and beginning a full rough draft of my research essay. Researching is definitely a lot harder than one might expect because you have to sift through a bunch of garbage on the Internet to find out what the real facts are.You can never really trust a website unless you’ve looked over it and found out the authors in the publisher and realized exactly where the information is coming from.
